Manual data entry was eating days of staff time every reporting cycle. We built an end-to-end automation that pulls structured data from insurance PDFs and writes it directly into Microsoft 365 Excel — charts and all.

The problem
Staff were manually copying claim data from 4–7 page PDFs into Excel. Up to 1–2 days per report, across hundreds of clients. High volume, high stakes, zero automation.

What we built
An n8n workflow that extracts claim references, incident types, vehicle data, and costs from PDFs — then populates Excel via the Microsoft 365 API, triggering live chart updates automatically.
